Terms of Service

By creating a Keystead account or using the service, you agree to these terms. The service is provided by Kellzi Group (“Keystead,” “we”). If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at alec@kellzigroup.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of any organization you create.

You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of fair housing, tenant rights, or anti-discrimination laws.
• Upload content you don't have rights to use.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data beyond normal product use.
• Interfere with other users or the service's infrastructure.
• Share tenant data outside what's necessary for property management.

Keystead offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription (Starter or Pro). Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until canceled.

Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing → Manage billing. You retain access through the end of your current billing period.

All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

Keystead uses AI (currently Anthropic Claude) to extract data from lease PDFs. AI output is best-effort and may contain errors — you're responsible for reviewing and correcting extracted data before relying on it for legal, tax, or financial decisions.

If you connect a bank account, you authorize us to receive read-only transaction data through Plaid. Plaid's own privacy policy and terms apply to that relationship: plaid.com/legal

You can disconnect any bank account at any time from Payments → Connections.

You own the data you put into Keystead. We don't claim any rights to it beyond what's required to operate the service.

On account deletion, we delete primary copies of your data within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

KEYSTEAD IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE FROM ALL POSSIBLE THREATS.

Keystead is not a law firm, CPA, or financial advisor. Reports generated by Keystead are tools, not professional advice — consult a qualified professional for tax, legal, or financial decisions.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KEYSTEAD'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN FEES DURING THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

You may delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or fail to pay. We'll give reasonable notice when feasible.

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
